Spirit Of Sportsmanship

The word sportsmanship means the right spirit in which a man should take part in any sport, or play any game.

It includes fair play and no favour, enthusiasm for the game, generosity to opponents, pluck, and the ability to take defeal well.

It goes without saying that a real sportsman will never dream of cheating in a game, or taking any unfair advantage of his opponent. She/he will always “play fair”, and honorably keep the rules of the game. And he will not expect any concessions from his opponent. He takes the game seriously, has patience while playing, does not care whether he wins or loses and plays with all his energy to beat his opponent. An un-sportsman like player will often get into a temper when he is being defeated. But the true sportsmen takes it in good humor even when he is losing.

It is truly said that ” Winning isn’t everything ;it’s the only thing”

“THE MORE YOU SWEAT IN PRACTICE, THE LESS YOU BLEED IN BATTLE. “
