When it comes to exciting features for your email, Gmail easily wins the race. There are a ton of tasks for you to use and explore in the service. One of these is the ability to use any email address as your answer.

With this, you can specify any address you wish to email as your answer. If you prefer it responds to you without ever having to hit their main Gmail address.

Adding reply-in addresses to Gmail does not require verification. As a result, you can enter any email address. Make sure you don’t misunderstand what you enter, or someone else will receive all your email responses.

Here’s how to set an answer-address in Gmail:

Access the Gmail site and log in to your account if necessary.

Locate the section that says Send Mail; It shows all email addresses tied to your Gmail account.

Outlook has many lesser known features that make your emailing experience easier. One of these lets you specify a custom reply-to address with each email being written in the app.

As it turns out, you can do this for individual messages or set a global reply-to address. We will cover both processes.

Using individual email to reply to Outlook

Using this method, you can use different reply-in addresses for different emails that you send. A custom reply-to-email address for a certain message when you only want a certain reply. This will not affect your other emails; They will continue to receive responses to your main email address.

You can set this feature in Outlook as follows:

Launch Outlook and click on the New Email option at the top to compose a new message.

A new email window will open on your screen. At the top, find the tab that says Options and click on it.

Now you can select a contact from your contact list that you want to use as an answer. If you do not have a contact, manually type in the email address below and click OK. Type or reply to the email

Select Close on the following screen and you will return to the Email Compose window.

Write your email as you normally would and send it while you work.

When the recipient responds, their response will go to the email you specified.

Using an Outlook reply-to address for all answers

Outlook also gives you the option to use custom reply-to-email addresses for all your messages. That way, every time you write a new message, you don’t have to enter a reply.

This process requires you to modify the settings of your email account to include your new reply in the email. You can use the steps below:

Launch Outlook, click the File tab at the top, and select Info from the left sidebar.

In the main panel, choose Account Settings, followed by Account Settings again. View account settings
