The Aviation School (also known as the Aviation Training Company (ATO)) teaches flying people.
A light aircraft from a traditional flying small flying school at a local airport or two that all international airlines train pilots – they can often attend a variety of regular trainings – in a large fleet of aircraft and aviation simulators. Of course, a lot falls into these two general categories.
The company you select will depend on two factors.
The main goal among them is your goal. If you want to learn to fly fast – near your home, work or retirement – you will usually search for a place to train.
If you want to get a job in aviation, you will invest more in time and money. Depending on where you want to travel and how much you can spend, you must look locally and nationally – or around the world.
If your goals are personal, they will follow a certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority that you live in (such as the FAA in the United States).
If you want to travel internationally, you can also choose somewhere that offers the kind of test certification training that will make you more attractive to the airlines or companies you choose.
Before you begin, try to identify the pilots who have achieved your goals – especially if you can contact the people you care about most – and talk to them about what is best to do and what a flying school has to offer. Whether
However, keep in mind that what is best for one pilot may not be the right choice for another, so you still need to do some homework – and feet – to make the best decision.
You also need to understand a little bit about yourself and the environment in which you are succeeding. Maybe you’ve been to (or plan to attend) a large university that offers a wide range of services and new people to meet – and the power that comes from this many services.
Or you’re interested in a more in-depth measure of your own learning experience, where a small class or one-on-one coaching is perfect for you – a place where everyone knows your name and people will look at each other.
While both large and small aviation schools can deliver products, some students discover that one is better than others.
Looking at all of these elements, let’s take a look at what kind of flying school you can look for in your local or regional airport, away from a short drive or car trip.
Travel time is one of the factors that can reduce your ability to schedule enough travel time.
If you live in a rural area or you are struggling with a lot of traffic, you may be limited geographically by one or two options. In this case your coach’s choice may be somewhat limited.
A small aviation school may or may not have a head coach and other staff; They can be arranged informally, operate under Part 61, and serve as a group of aircraft instructors who use the same aircraft for training.
This transverse structure does not necessarily mean that there is no structure. Some of the best training can happen under these conditions – if it suits you.
Contact the school principal or owner to find out what to expect.
You may even find that a single-actor airline trainer can provide the personal attention you need, but you need to keep in mind that CFI may offer little in the way of backup if you face any health issues or issues with the maintenance of the aircraft used for training.
A larger aviation school, or ATO, will have more administrative staff and certain positions required by the Civil Aviation Authority, depending on the number of students and aircraft.
You will need to meet with the chief aircraft instructor (and the main ground instructor if possible) to determine the level they are fighting for in their management.
The more school space, the more diversity you have in terms of offers and possibly airline selections.
It can provide training on the outside of the experimental level or air transport and on beginners such as the CRJ or Embraer E145 Series – or Airbus A320 or Boeing 737.
You can choose to attend a degree or professional program offered by Aviation College or University. This track is usually for those of you who are interested in pursuing a career as a professional pilot, but you can enjoy adding more flying topics.
Associations such as the International Aviation Recognition Council and the University Aviation Association may provide comments on the reputation of an organization and the industry’s diligence.
